At least it'll help pass the time a bit. It'll be almost the middle of July by the time I'm done with that. Keeping my fingers crossed I'll be able to see some rock-n-roll thunderstorms down there - the unobstructed sight lines from the beach house make for great viewing of C-G lightning.

Next trip for me to be happy about won't be until the later half of August - quite a ways off still. Always fun to plan though.

Sunset Beach, very near Calabash, NC. It's due east of my current location...lol.

Where will you be going in SE GA? The Okefenokee?

Cool! It looks to me like one of the best areas of the country, with beautiful nature and a moderated four season climate with fairly wet summers.

I'll be visiting my aunt who lives near the coast in Brunswick, and spend some time at St. Simons Island/Golden Isles.

They don't sound boring at all. Way way better than going to Florida and staying on a golf resort, going shopping everyday.
