I have the Lumia 625.

Oh and I just saw on the news the green party has a plan if they get into government they will rise the minimum wage to £10 an hour and give every adult £80 a week in gauranteed income. And this will be funded by taxing the arses off the rich

If you haven't got money to spend just tax the rich! Its so simple and spread it around the country.

What to set up a big chain of businesses but cant afford the rent? Tax the rich and give the person money to help rent the place!

Poor local authority can't build that science college? You get it.

Tax the rich and spend money to invest in the country and watch the money flow!

But no...

That might not sound like much, but the screen on this phone is very bright, at night I reduce it to about 20% and is still bright.

According to the folks on the Android forums, about 6 hrs on-screen time is considered excellent for this phone. My old Galaxy Express (which met an untimely $398 death on the concrete) would get about 6-7hrs screen time on a charge, which I was thrilled with. And that phone feels ancient compared to the S5 in terms of screen resolution and horsepower.

Damn! My Galaxy Express met its maker with the concrete recently. Just today, my mum also drop her phone. It is dead. My friend at work has a Galaxy S4 with a screen that looks like a spider web and the back cover doesn't attach properly anymore. My other work friend is on his second phone in 2 weeks.. and that also has a cracked screen...

Which Lumia do you have, it's not the one with the badass 41mp camera is it?
I had a Sony xperia which in all honesty wasn't great.. by the sounds of it your new phone is great! I've never had one with battery life like that before!

About to go off and eat in a lovely French restaurant near bye, and those annoying Irish people opposite us finally left thankfully! It's also nice and warm this evening so I am going to drink rosé wine like its water.. I'll try and not post on here later lol

TGIF! I was able to buy a cowboy hat this afternoon for only $8. Pretty cool tent sale. It's hot as hell though. I got drenched in sweat just browsing the items on sale.

That being said my crappy retail job does pay $20 per hour. Not sure what wages are like in European countries. I know they are crap in Hungary, I know one guy who just got into the construction industry and is earning the eqivalent of $35 a day.
Woah that's high! Minimum wage here is £6.31 or something like that.. I am on £7 an hour at a restaurant/bar!

Yes spirits tend to be a rip off.. beer is probably the best value buy here, if you multi buy it works out at about £0.50 per can/bottle. I tend.to go for the cheaper brands of spirits though, as I am a student.. £10-£12 for a 70cl bottle isn't too bad.. wine is about £3+ a bottle depending on quality

Lindsay Rose
There is a number. Many well-educated Finns moved to Central Europe during the recession in the early 90's, met someone there, and their offspring starts to surface now. Gotte and Lam has never lived in Finland, but all their lives in France and the Netherlands respecively. Brechtel is also one of these, but he has lived here and Germany like 50-50. O'Shaugnessy's dad again came to Finland at some point and settled here. And there's quite many of them too.

But yes, I feel we are mature enough for diversity.

Lindsay Rose, wow, that's one feminine name. But France has quite many players originally from Overseas Departements, so it's not really the same thing.

Interesting. The other day I read an article about the Finnish school system that had small tidbits about the economy and was surprised by the stark growth of unemployment in the early 90s. Didn't expect it to be that bad.
Finlande - Taux de chômage - Les Echos Data

Btw, from that French U21 team, 2 players are from overseas departments and one from Cameroon, the others were born in metropolitan France.

Yes, the early 90's recession was worse than the 1929 Wall Street crash here. A lot of reasons were behind it, but the era that preceeded it was known as 'the casino economy', which tells something.

BTW, right now Finland is officially in the longest-lasting economic recession since the 1860's.

The majority of the players, like Rexhepi, Kabashi (Kosovo), O'Shaugnessy (Ireland), Kamara (Sierra Leone), Rahimi (Morocco) and Anyamele (Nigeria) are all born in Finland as well. But this was the first time I noticed that a 18-19 player squad were a majority of at least partly foreign descent. Usually it's like 3-5 players.
