With all this humidity killing us, I really am hoping for a thunderstorm now. This July has been so hot we are brainwashed onto thinking of lows around 60 F as a polar.vortex. In reality, that's just 3 F below average.

No thunder here for weeks and weeks. We don't get thunderstorms in Buxton. I'm actually really happy because as anybody knows on here, I'm terrified of thunderstorms.

Spoiler
Right.

Thunderstorms really helped the humidity here. Woke up to clouds and dewpoint in the 70s, finally a proper summer morning.

Seems to be a good chance of a storm again this afternoon.

Same **** here. Makes me sick to the stomach reading about everyone, even ****ing Finland and Estonia getting more storms in the last few weeks than we had in the last goddamn year. God sake our last proper storm was in July LAST YEAR. If a certain poster is to be believed, Chicago seems to have had about 10x the number of storms last couple week that Melbourne gets in a human lifetime

I should also note that the Tasman Sea just off the Vic/NSW coast at identical latitude as Melbourne has gotten storm rampage over 10 of the last 14 days for **** sake in my ass. Herp de derp

There does look to be a bit of convective potential around during the latter days of this week; thurs-fri-sat should see good chances for everybody (unless it downgrades into oblivion).

The following places will probably get everything as per bloody usual of course:

Lincolnshire
Northern Ireland
Scotland
Yorkshire
One or two places in the SE
Birmingham
Wales
