Nice observation. That's a pretty crazy gradient there. The different between Dallas in OKC is stunning, too. 57 in Oklahoma City now at 8:30 eastern and 89 in Dallas.
Dallas's forecast calls for thunderstorms, lows around 60F, and highs only around 70F tomorrow, so the cold front should be passing through soon.
Check this gradient out today....
1pm. 57°F in Richmond Virginia, 80s at the Virginia Beach coast.
Freeze Warnings & Frost Advisories in the Northeast tonight.. Latest GFS Min temps for tomm morning.
I believe some folks already had a frost/freeze and that's why there's gaps in the Alerts map. They wont issue frost/freeze if it already happened,
They actually do have counties in NH shaded again even though they have already had freezing temperatures earlier on in this season. Concord would be one example.

Hmmm, I do remember seeing some stations in southern NH that dropped below freezing... I bet you it wasn't widespread and just patchy frost/freezes and that's why they issued it for the county again?
WITH READINGS NEAR OR BELOW 32 DEGREES OVER SOUTHERN INTERIOR LOCATIONS...FREEZE WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING HOURS SUNDAY. CLOSER TO THE COAST AND OVER EASTERN INTERIOR SECTIONS NEAR AUGUST...TEMPS ARE FORECAST TO BE IN THE MID 30S YEILDING FROST ADVISORIES. FURTHER TO THE NORTH AND WEST THE FROST/FREEZE PROGRAM HAS ALREADY ENDED.
They don't issue it once it's happened so I bet it was because it was patchy last time.
I'm heading to the coast to throw ice cubes in there. Come on!
