Here we go, mets starting the buzz about it. Not something warm fans need to see happen now. If this happens and type of pattern continues... get your woolies out this winter.

Trying to think, 11-15 puts us into the time frame of that arctic blast. I think whats happening is the 11-15 "average" is warm because the Arctic shot is progressive (in & out) and the days around it are average/warm. We'll see if it changes.

And now I see those images are the ensembles, not the OP. So interesting they aren't as cold for the November 1st time frame

Still time to iron this all out. Keep those posts coming.

^^

Our seven day forecast reflects a cool shot last couple of days of the month. But that wouldn't be in the 11-15 day range.

Fayetteville, NC
Very warm 80s weather returns next week, however the humidity level must be lower so it would be manageable!
After the Halloween Day, the first 30s expected on the first day of November

I mentally prepared myself weeks ago for a well below average winter. I tend to think these things come in pairs lol. So hopefully get this one over with and then milder next year. One can only hope. I'll start looking forward to summer around February.

At least even a cool summer here is still much better than the summer lots of other folks on this forum get.
