Here's a leaf "peak" map for the U.S. Peak meaning it's been changing for at least couple weeks before this.
We certainly can get cold and snow in March. I think I read on another forum (netweather) from somebody saying that snow in March is more common than in December or November (I can't remember which)

We had snow in March and even April last year, but that was one of our coldest Springs on record!

I definitely consider March a spring month, we can get warmish days up to around 70F but nights are always cool/cold still

here, it cools in September- we have two months of "summer" july and august...


we welcome if it gets warmer- the oil bills are horrendous it gets very cold in maine and lots of snow

I don't know how you live there. I flew over and looked down and all I could see was trees for hundreds and hundreds of miles.
