Local area forecast -- frost and freeze advisories/warnings for all of North Dakota/northern MN into parts of South Dakota. About on par with average first frost in many areas...at least in the Grand Forks area.

Extremely impressed of the coverage area of this airmass this time of year.

First Snow, First Frost As Fall Cold Front Plunges (FORECAST) - weather.com

Did the forecaster said a word "nasty" because the cold air plunges into 30s and 40s of low temperatures?
This is how the media gave a suggestion and made them brainwashed.
To me it would be a "pleasure" that want me to travel upper Midwest.

57°F at 5:30 here in Metro Detroit, the "hottest" part of the day. Last night's front was rather warm...to me at 74 making that "today's" official high crossing after midnight last night. I think they should change the am/pm marker as 74 seems like a distant memory lol. They predicted 66 but we arent even hitting 60 unless you count "this morning" at midnight.

First 10 days of September the average high is 82.9F at MDW. I wonder what it will be after this cold snap which will last a good 5 days
