No rain here yet but getting breezy.. Not a storm to write home about. Very week & unorganized.

A look at the 10m winds and Radar as of 6:30am. Winds from the North over D.C while Northeast over Philly.

You can see where the Low Pressure is by looking at where the winds get tighter into a circle.

Seems a bit of an indian summer for the UK. Fantasy material yet, but a possibility. Light wind from E turning to S, and very stormy conditions in Arctic Norway.

With poor luck it will hit Scotland directly and affect England as well.

All I know is I'm sitting here hours away from the rain and look at the difference between Euro and GFS. Am I getting 0 or 2"?? Imagine this was a winter storm. LOL
Accuweather was calling it a NorEaster last night. Probably media hype

Yup... Would you believe the winds are calm and I got a whopping 0.02" so far? Play the loop the rain doesn't want to cross the CT border. LOL

Autumn hasn't really appeared here yet this year.. and judging by the latest models it won't do until mid October at the earliest. After today, temps will be more like July, highs of 23C/24C and lows of 15C to round off September and start October

I think your neck of the woods as well as mine will see a significantly different pattern by the end of the first week of October if not sooner

This is what is being forecast for Europe days 11-15

YES OH GOD YES!

Well, that's a whirlpool high, so if the wind shifts to N or NE, it will be sunny but crisp. Hope the model will become reality, and be reinforced with more warm air. Please.

I hope not!

Overall, May and August aside, this year has had the same pattern.. high pressure close by and temperatures consistently about 2C above average

Almost looks like the eye of the storm. lol. Absolutely no wind here from this coastal storm. At least the rain finally moved in. Birds are out and the Squirrels continue to bury acorns.

Everyone in sweatshirts. Not getting out of the 50s here.
