When room temperatures drops below 17°C. That and below is unacceptable. Here the room temperature changes little from day/night and in winter it would be constantly below 10°C is not for heating. In some climates with big diurnal ranges, like Australia in winter etc... it might get below this indoors at night but will reach it or exceed it in the day, which would be different of course and is not the same ball game.
Air condition would be suitable starting from 27°C onwards .
Unfortunately I have to rely on a fan here.
Heating once the indoors temperature drops permanently
below 19°C. Since my appartment is well insulated this usually
happens when we get the first nights close to zero, which is
usually not the case before November.
I run the AC when the outside temp gets above 90F / 32C and set it at 76F / 24.5C.
About mid September we start to freeze in the mornings, so the stove in my bedroom gets lit. Our bedroom stays at 70F / 21C, and the rest of the house at 65F / 18C.
