Hottest day this year

Here: July 8, 2014: 2:52pm: 90.7°F/32.6°C

A look at the hottest temps of the year since 1948 at Bridgeport on the coast. Yeah... been since 2000 since we haven't had higher than 90F

What goes up must come down...but now I guess an up leg is in store so next year expecting a max above 92F at least.

Wunderground it says 100°F(38°C) in July 9, 2014.
But the actual temperature that observed hourly update was 99.0°F(37.2°C) and NOAA says even lower temperature of 97°F(36°C).
Not sure which official data is true.

Was January 16th. 43.9C recorded in Melbourne city.
In the Melbourne area the highest temp of 46.3C was recorded on Jan 17th at Avalon airport.
