Some weather stations at lighthouses have recorded hurrican force wind speed along the SW and S Norwegian coast, and gusts up to 45.5 m/s = 164 km /h wind speed so far. Highest sustained wind speed 37.6 m/s or 135 km /h at Eigerøya S of Stavanger.
@18:00:
33 m/s = 118 km /h = hurricane at Fedje near Bergen
In Bergen itself only near gale, 57 km /h.
The mountainous islands and peninsulas takes the brunt of the stormy weather and protects most cities along the coast
Of course wintry weather is expected to strike right in the middle of the morning commute on Monday. Great timing.

Interesting. Keep us posted. What about temperatures and wind?
Fortunately we missed the worst of the storm. Moderate snowfall though. Some 8-9 cm here, up to 15 cm in the Helsinki region. The wind has calmed down, but still cloudy, during early morning windchill values fell to -20C/-4F.
Kevo in northern Lapland fell to -38.8C/-38F last night, the coldest temp measured this winter.

Only fell to -22.7 in Sweden last night. The coldest temperature measured this winter is still -37.0 in December.
Should be really cold in the majority of Norrbotten up until Thursday, most places will not be going above -20C from now on until Thursday I think it's the same for Northern Finland too
minor snowstorm coming tomorrow. Mixed with sleet in many places. Haven't had a really big snowstorm yet. Thursday onwards is closer to average (highs in the low 30s). Hints of above average after next weekend.
