Watching next Thursday night very closely down here. Southeast US Atlantic coast winter storm is a small possibility and is showing up in my 10 day. What is the GFS model saying for that area during that time?

12z gfs is a no go, still cold but little precipitation around, which is a big change from the 00z run.

Heh. Just checked again tonight, and yeah, the precip Thursday night basically went poof, lol! Even the rain chances on Thursday afternoon went down! It was fun while it lasted.

Slushy and partly heavy snow forecasted, and the southern/central parts are under bad driving conditions advisory:

The Interior minister was in an potentially serious accident in SE Finland during a work trip, but her situation is reported not to be critical.

We've missed the worst snowfall, and it's projeced to remain light here, while heavy in the east.

No spring or summer again for you. My karma is working hopefully. Coldest summer in Chicago history on its way. Rain all summer with little sun and temps stuck in the 60'sF. I will be laughing at all your whining posts then.
