Check out Eurasians snow cover. Growing into Europe. Hopefully it can negate the influence of that pesky Atlantic, which tends to kill both winters and summers in much of Western Europe

Anyways....

CFS fantasy time range, but whoa if that's what mid December will look like. Damn

Check out the SST's during the winter of 1977

Now check out the current SST's see any similarities in the Pacific?

Interesting find. 2011/2012 in Chicago felt like a breeze with an early transition to spring. March was freaky as hell.

The snowfall in 2012/2013 was strange... most of it confined to February and March. When I got back from North Carolina around New Year's Eve, the ground was free of snow. Quite bewildering...

and so was the winter before that

I decided to check out the winter you had before the really warm March in 2012. It was still horribly cold by my standards.

You know I looked at those averages and that isn't actually that cold. There was only 2 ice days.. How is that horribly cold?? Its not rare to have that in the UK.
