Looks like the path of least resistance is Westbound with Typhoon Hagupit but room to curve. http://tropic.ssec.wisc.edu/real-time/dlmmain.php?&basin=westpac&sat=wgms&prod=dlm3&zoom =&time=

A look at the Upper level steering currents for it's particular size. Bigger blocking much further north but notice the winds going west from where it is. Could still recurve since that blocking just north of it is not all that strong.

Canadian GEM:

Colder morning in Italy and Spain than in Lapland. In December.

Boom goes the dynamite... Since it's gotten so friggin boring lets see what the new Canadian just produced. BLIZZARD for Southern New England next week!

Now...... Wouldn't it be hilarious if this type solution verifies without a typhoon curving? lol It's one of those cases where everybody needs a friggin excuse for a reason for this to happen. I have fallen for that as well at times.

Weather will do what it wants typhoon or not!!!

12z Canadian hr144. Tuesday morning.

What's with the lack of cold that's being forecast? My forecast doesn't look mild, just about average maybe a bit on the chilly side. Mostly 30s and cloudy.

There are some out there that are on the "watch this" train. Meaning everyone whos screaming warm will be wrong. lol I'm on the warm train! Someone frame this post! LOL

Doesn't mean we cant get a snowstorm though. I Just don't see December being a cold below normal month. We'll see.

BTW... on this storm next week....

Canadian says blizzard for Southern New England
Euro says Snowstorm for Northern New England
GFS says I need an upgrade as good as the non American models. It shows a clipper in Canada. LOL

If the GFS is right, mid December will not be warm in fact, I think we will see another Arctic outbreak. If the Euro track is right, then I'm in for a lame month

It appears as though WU, TWC agree with the GFS for the Typhoon making a turn northward.
