The discolouration of the leaves here seem to start very early this year. I took the following pics on the evening of September 2nd, almost all trees have still their green summer plumage, however on some i could see the first coloured leaves, about three to four weeks earlier than usual.
Some orange leaves beginning to show up here too besides the green and blighted ones on certain trees:
Is that Chestnut? I've been seeing same type of tree with orange colors for couple weeks now but I drive to fast to closely inspect. lol I think its Chestnut (at least the ones Im seeing)
I'll have to get into my Fall color picture taking mode. Just sporatic here unlike last year more noticeable.
Nope, not chestnut. Looks like an ash tree judging from the leaves. I javen't paid attention recently, but chestnut trees must all be brown by know because of the leaf miner. I wish our chestnut trees had the time to turn orange before.

Haha "just haven't" shortened, I gotta start using that throughout the day.

It looks quite small and spread out to be an ash tree. If there are berries on the tree, and the leaves have fine hairs on them, then it could be a sumac (a very common garden tree here).
The photo is taken from the 2nd floor of a building. Might take a closer look next time I'm there.
