Maybe it's a very recently established weather station (no more than 5 years)? As such, the data figures would be sporadic and irregular.

Impossible temperature range. Must be wrong.

Bone dry, high elevation, probably very sunny and such low diurnal range?

lol look at August... 81°F/27°C day and 72°F/22°C night? it would need to have super high humidity... but not a single drop of rain?

sure i'll give this mythical climate a B

Not necessary...A lot of hot desert climates would have hot (even humid) nights without any rain. For instance, Mecca's June low is 28C and it gets no drop of rain....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecca#Climate

As I said up there, it's probably a relatively new weather station. So the figures haven't "tightened" up yet and would look irregular.

Except the June high in Mecca is 42 C, so a 28 C low would make sense.

The drop from July to August in Amadiya is suspect.

??? Mecca has over 20°F ranges all year and also should have (comparatively) lower diurnal ranges given its position closer to a large body of water, larger city to retain the heat, and finally a lower elevation (which typically has more humidity)...

doesn't explain it though, we are talking about conditions that should never exist on a plateau in the dry season... i rarely ever see less than 10°F diurnal ranges and i'm in the mother****ing swamp, let alone it being the average for an entire month. no way jose...

That's a plausible month in Mediterranean France and Italy [many spots with little rain]; maybe not an average but could happen in a coastal spot near NYC.

Here's another city in northern Iraq at somewhat lower elevation.

Mediterranean precipitation pattern; rather high annual range. August is about the same as July
