Are you serious, guys? Cold weather is horrible. Anything below 0 °C (32 °F) with the wind feels horrible. I seriously hate cold weather, my favourite weather is from 10 °C to 20 °C (50/70 °F) and overcast skies

I have never been paranoid about the cold. Or the hot. Or the in-between. In the Summer, when it gets really hot, I can get in my A/C car, drive to the A/C store, or the A/C restaurant, and hang out for a bit til I cool off. Once the sun goes down, it's generally bearable with a ceiling fan going. I do have sense enough not to try doing really physical anything when the temps are in the upper 80s or 90s. That's when I sit on the porch with a book and a cold drink. And watch the joggers sweat their way down the road. Mad dogs and Englishmen...

I actually prefer the cooler weather. When it's 30, 40, 50, I can feel quite comfortable going out in a long sleeved shirt and a heavy sweater. And I much prefer Standard Time. It means slow down and mellow out before bed time. I don't usually put on a heavy coat until the temps are in the mid to low 20s or less. Of course, I try to make it a point not to have to go out when it gets that cold, but if I do, I don't get bent over it.

I'm not, however, planning on an ocean swim in 50 deg. water, TYVM.

You can run around naked in the heat.

I left New Jersey for the South for college, and I have to say that I miss the cold and hate the heat. I never had an issue with the cold, but my father sure does! If he had his choice, he'd be living in South Florida.

The way I see it is that you can always add more layers when it's cold, but you can't take off your skin when it's hot.

Almost the perfect climate for me.

Extreme max 117F/47.2C
Extreme min -35C/-37.2C

You'd like my area. Ashcroft, for example, had an average high of -1.2C/29.8F in December and an average high of 33.3C/92F in July.

I have never trully felt unconforable due to extreme heat, and I've experienced 40ºC plus temperatures.
On the other hand every time it gets to just -5ºC around here, it's definitely too cold to me, and I avoid being outside or I know I'll turn blue/purple in my face/extremities, plus my lips get all dry/bloody and my movements slower.

I think of being too cold as painful and some paranoia is because you can freeze to death? Over regular hot and humid temps. Hot and sweaty is merely a inconvenience. I surely don't fear sweating to death. I can enjoy outdoors more in warmth them cold.

Cold=snow=shoveling & scraping your car windows & sliding on ice. Layers of clothes. Frozen faces and hands (hard to do much in gloves). I could go on. I've lived in both extremes about equal numbers of years. I'll take heat and sweat any day. Yes its exhausting at times but I just step inside the air con and I'm quickly refreshed, but not frozen.

I'd prefer yours. July and August are too hot, but overall it's an improvement. Would prefer a climate that's just less extreme. This is closer to my ideal:

Want proof? Here's a pic of me enjoying a 26-degree day in January in a proper winter climate:
Not what I expected you to look like, but I didn't know what to expect. I'll go outside in cold weather, I just can't enjoy it as much.
