Morro Bay. It's on the cool side but at least it's very sunny and comfortable. Paso Robles has hot summers.

Would have to be Morro Bay as I cannot stand 30C+ with low humidity.

I would choose Paso Robles because it gets hot enough to get in a pool. It's also very cool at night in the summers so you're really only hot for 4-5 hours/day in the summer and it's a dry heat.

Morro Bay. Although it's winterless, has a Mediterranean precipitiation pattern, and has massive seasonal lag, the temperatures are so much better than Paso Robles.

Paso Robles for its warmer summers (Morro Bay's ones are frightful).
Also Paso Robles has the perfect average mean temperatures for me.
But its extreme diurnal range with hot days and very cold nights is terrible. Come on, 22°C of daily range in August!

Paso Robles. The summer heat probably wouldn't faze me too much, as I've experienced much hotter summer weather. Also the cool nights would provide blissful relief (night time temperatures throughout the year are actually close to what we get here, surprisingly). Frosty nights in winter would make for a bit of a change, whereas with Morro Bay, there isn't much difference throughout the year.

Morro Bay. Doesn't get hot and doesn't get cold either.
