Oh my!! Well, I don't think the snow is heading our direction. It'll be too cold to snow. We have had a dusting of snow throughout the morning though. Luckily, it's the sweepable kind instead of the snow shovel kind.
Blizzards are really horrible, but for me, there is no worse winter weather than an ice storm. For me, ice storms are almost as bad as tornado warnings. Not only does the ice make roads as slippery as a skating rink, but it snaps power lines, flattens power poles and pylons, and leaves people without power for days. And in the winter, when you have no power, you have no heat, and without heat, your house gets so cold that you have to bury yourself under a 5 foot mountain of blankets to keep warm, not to mention it can kill your houseplants and even burst your water pipes!

Very true! Ice storms are horrible.
They have more things going on now on the West Coast. It looks like a succession of stormy weather is headed that way. But from what I saw, as the storms move inland, the snow may not go far enough north to reach Idaho.
