Northern Maine

High of 5 below
Low of 35 below

I have seen three weeks straight when it never went above zero. I also predict we will harvest ice early this year. We do that when the ice becomes 14 inches thick. Maine used to send ice to New Orleans by clipper ship.

High 31 F (-0.6 C)
Low 16 F (-8.9 C)

I'm guessing similar to last year.

Among the our forum posters Max96 from eastern Ukraine may also have some chances. Very probably no rivalry in Europe to JetsNHL, though.
But to predict something is complicated as winters are even more impredictable here than other seasons, imho. My really blind guess would be coldest high as -17c, coldest low -30c. Let's wait and see.
I had now a look some last winters' data and maybe I am now more close to real weather events: so I predict -15c as the coldest daytime high and -28c as coldest nighttime low.

I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania; the occasional "nor'easter" is more of a concern than cold;

But at any rate

Min daytime high 15F
Min overnight low -8F

For Nice-Côte-d'Azur: 7/0°C (44/32°F)
