Many places now have more then 1 m of snow in the mountains of S Norway.
Largest snow pack at Midtstova (1,162 m asl), almost 2.5 m: 242 cm snow depth.
Only the highest mountain tops have snow here at the moment and even there its a pathetic 1-4 cm.
Even the Zugspitze (2962 m) has only 1 metre currently.
...and now there's a decent amount of it. It's just beautiful, instantly the atmosphere changes from utter depression to wonder and delight. I'll never understand people who prefer 3°C and drizzle to this.

Lucky! We've seen literally no snow so far here. Only 18 out of the past 21 December day's have been cold enough for snow to fall, but we've seen none at all
We have got about 12 cm here. Also 10 cm was recorded in Oslo (94 m) this morning. 14 cm in Tromsø.
It's now danger of avalanches in parts of the inner SW fjords, 1 m snow at barely 300 m altitude there.
