Don't really care or pay attention to snow in Eastern Europe because the cold for me comes down from Greenland.
What about Norway, Sweden, Finland and European Russia There is some snow here too I'm sure snow will be arriving soon in the Baltic states too and some parts of Europe.

I don't think so. It's very mild and it is going to get milder in central Europe next week.

Well I may be wrong about the European part, but it is definitely cold enough for snowfall to occur in the Baltic states, Belarus and Ukraine.

All the Nordic countries have also seen lying snow apart from Denmark

Nope, we need that jet stream to set up over Iceland, with high pressure over France to bring up mild weather permanently over winter

I would rather have permanent cold weather over winter. Last winter was just disappointing to say the least. Nowhere near average, even January was well off with a minimum of -4.1C.

I wouldn't mind this winter being a degree warmer, but nothing more, I want to see permanent snow in December at least
