It snowed also here around Turin. In the city there were just 5 cm that today melted because of the rain, but at higher altitudes it snowed a lot. My place is 600m high and after 3 days of snow alterned with rain we have 20-30 cm of snow. Instead in the village above us, at 800m, has only snowed and so they have 50cm of snow if no more. From what I heard at the university from other students, around Cuneo it snowed even more (at least If you compare places with the same elevation).
In the end I think we got more than 20 cm because when I walked out, the snow was higher than my ankles and in some areas all the lower part of my leg was in the snow.
Oslo: 21 cm snow depth (Blindern), and 64 cm up at Bjørnholt (360 m) in the Nordmarka hills.
Bergen: 0 cm. But the largest snow depth is also at the SW coast, higher up: 240 cm at the village Jordalen (614 m).
Here in Trondheim: 6 cm. More up in the hills.
Inland and higher up a lot more, 97 cm at Aursunden (685 m) near Røros.
Tromsø getting more snow now, 52 cm snow depth today (100 m).
40 cm total snowfall in Bingley for 2014/15 so far, which will probably still be 40 cm this time next week.
Using Ogimet I've been able to work out the total snowfall over the past few winters:
2009/10: 64 cm
2010/11: 42 cm
2011/12: 14 cm
2012/13: 93 cm
2013/14: 3 cm
I'm not used to seeing cumulative snow totals presented this way so didn't really know what kind of results I could expect to get. That 93 cm / 36.5 inches from 2012-13 includes the two snowiest months of this decade so far: 41 cm in March 2013 and 32 cm in January 2013. Unlikely to be beaten for a very long time, likewise the 52 days of snow cover in the calendar year 2010!
The deepest snow we've had at any one time in recent years was 32 cm on 24 March 2013, and I don't expect that to happen again any time soon either.
There was a snowfall/blizzard today and we got some more snow, at the station the depth is 8cm now.
In the south-east Estonian hills the highest snow depth right now is 38 cm.

Interesting. I did keep a rough table of snowfall totals in 2012/2013. I believe the total was around 80cm, which is the snowiest winter I've ever experienced, and beats 2009/2010 easily. This winter I'm not sure, as I've not been keeping track - probably 15-20cm. Now, if 2012/2013 was colder and with less thawing in between falls, we would have had really impressive depths approaching 40cm no doubt.
Very good snowpack numbers right now. For the Helsinki-Turku-Rauma-Ã…land area it's mostly in drifts. Here in the city we have maybe 5 cm. We should get some light snow during the night, but I don't think it will accumulate to anything much.

The grand total for 2013/2014 was 0cm.
I missed the recent snowy winters, so I have absolutely no idea on snow depths here.
I can tell you this winter has been a big fat zero though, no settling snow at all yet. It'd be cool to see other locations around the country.
will not change that much the coming days i think. short dry, sunny days with temperatures of 3-5C and long frosty nights doesn't have that much of an effect on the snowcover.

2013/14: 3 cm
I'll add my snowfall for comparison. A place I think would be considered snowy, but not extremely snowy.
2009/10: 52 cm
2010/11: 149 cm
2011/12: 44 cm
2012/13: 108 cm
2013/14: 120 cm
Obviously snowier here, but there's some overlap. Max snow depth is 64 cm in Feb 2011, can't do a year by year as data appears to be missing but half that appears to be the normal season max.
