We all love numbers.... Here ya go.

1. Marquette little less than 9:1 Snow ratio.

2. 23.5" and still snowing! That is the biggest snowstorm since the 1800s before mid November.

Nov 5-6, 1988 they got 18.8"
Nov 9-10, 1983 they got 14.6"

I have to keep looking at the Calendar.

NWS NY Talking about Polar Lows. Highs in the 30s. Unusual precip event with Light Snow. "Next" shot of Arctic air.... Is this January?? Polar Lows is a favorite term of mine.

It didn't even start and you're looking for the end?

Might continue to end of month with only 1-2 days worth of 50s. Anything past 20th is still changeable but from my experience its VERY hard to establish or get a warm-up or warm pattern with the Vortex so close and blocking in place. I wouldn't be surprised if we go into December with this pattern

Temps at 10,000 feet. Trough is huge. -30C around the Upper Low keeping the surface there very cold there.

I agree with Cambium. There is nothing in the teleconnections that indicate a pattern shift. This cold is here to stay for a while
