Mari-Kansas is a bizarre oceanic climate in which late summer and fall is extremely cloudy and wet with moderate temperatures similar to SE Alaska. The winter and spring on the other hand are much more sunny and can have extremely high temperature fluctuations which result in cold snaps as well as summer like weather. Due to the sudden temperature changes severe weather is not uncommon including tornadoes. for example in February of this year there was a F3 tornado in the area followed by a snowstorm the next day.

Well fictional means it's not real so....

I should have mentioned that the months with the most severe weather are March and April.

For this climate I give it a C-. The biggest negative is no real summer and the possibility of damaging weather.

Oceanic climates are defined by stable, cloudy, and mild to cool weather most of the year so I don't know if it can be classified by oceanic due to those winter variations and frequent bouts of severe weather. I give it a D+ because there is no true summer to speak of (extending period of warm weather). The + is for the sunny winters with frequent warm spells. I like thunder and lightning but not tornadoes or highly dangerous weather so that's more of a negative.

I wasn't sure if it was Oceanic either but I wasn't sure of what other climate classification it would fall under.

That was what the fun of making this climate was, I wanted to create something truly different.

E. It doesn't get an F because it has some interesting aspects. Otherwise, scores low for having no summer, too much gloomy weather, and high tornado risk.
