The cut offs offered are not correct for me. I considere 84F/29C warmth, definitely not heat. Temps at or above 90F/32C (as long as it's humid) is "heat". If it's not humid, I would say 34C would be considered "heat".
30C seems to fit my definition of "heat" quite well. I use that as my threshold for a "hot" day.
However, the sun extremely intense here, even 25C with full sunshine and no wind will feel hot, whereas the same temp in the shade with wind will be mild, infact almost cool. Even now, the sun will sting if there is no wind with the temps we've been having lately. There is a huge difference in the comfort level between shade and sun here when the temps are in the 20's to low 30's with little wind.
For that classic scorching hairdryer desert heat, that seems to begin at around 38C for me. 35-36C is hot, but I can tell it is still short of that classic "hairdryer"effect. At around 38C is when it kicks in for me.
It looks a nice round number, so I think it might. Even though 30 °C to me feels like being in one of those movies where people dress without shirts, drinking coconut juice under a beach umbrella while there's a Reggaeton song in the background. It's another level of heat LOL.
I think 27 °C feels hot as well. Hot enough to dress with light clothes, perhaps not hot enough to feel like you're in a "tropical paradise", but it still feels like a "proper" summer day. I don't like it, though. I prefer cooler temperatures.
Yes. Whilst 25C is rather mild, if you're under the sun it would feel rather hot. Also when the humidity is high. A windy 25C is pleasant.
Definitely. Especially here at 26 N where the sun angle is fairly strong year-round. Though, 25 C is still cool enough to where wind makes a definite difference. A breezy, sunny 25 C is pleasantly warm, IMO. Perfect early/late summer weather.
