Hottest would be here unless you count a few hours' drive into the country a different place.

Coldest... honestly, probably here too. Been to Europe and other parts of Australia but only usually in the summer or when it wasn't so cold.

EDIT: Temps would be about 45C and maybe -3.

Hottest place- Abu Dhabi, UAE, Late May 1982 , it was 114 at 9AM, close to 120 by noon.
Coldest place - Chicago Jan 20, 1985- actual temp was -27, felt like -70. This same weather system had actual temps in Montana as low as -70 below. Brrrr. I actually remember the date because it is tattooed on my brain due to how fecking cold it was.

Hottest: Cordoba, Spain in August 2000 (45C). Been to the Sahara in Tunisia but in April it was only around 25-30C.
Coldest: at home in December 2010 (-15C)
Coldest by annual mean: Ben Nevis or the Cairngorms.

The hottest place I have ever been was in my bedroom with my wife. The coldest place I have ever been was in my bedroom with my wife. It all depends on how good or bad of husband I am that determines the temperature of the bedroom.
