Hottest place I've been in the summer: Dallas-Ft. Worth,TX

Hottest place I've been in the spring/autumn: Dallas-Ft. Worth,TX
Coldest place I've been in the spring/fall: Everett,WA in the spring, Milwaukee,WI in the fall.

Hottest: Death Valley, US in August (around 48°C / 118°F)
Coldest: Kongsberg, Norway in January (around -25°C / -13°F)

Hottest place: Tough one. I've been to the US & British Virgin Islands; Cozumel, Mexico; Belize City, Belize; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. All in July & August. One of those would have to be it.

Coldest place: Would have to be Montreal, but that was in the summer. Coldest I've been to in the winter (January) would be Toronto.

The (outdoor) temperature extremes I've experienced in my life are 105F (40C) and -27F (-33C). The former was in Chicago, the latter in Madison WI, which aren't very far from each other. You sure get to experience some pretty significant extremes around here.
