In terms of average annual temps:
Hottest: Seville - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Coldest: Fort William, Scotland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In terms of places where I felt the hottest temp and lowest temp:
Hottest: Greece: 46C (115F)
Coldest: Waterlooville: -7C (19F)

Hottest: The Mohave Desert in California.

Coldest: Sitting on a ski lift chair in Maine on a 20 degree day. It felt like 20 below which is what we had here in Illinois last winter.

coldest: a mountain in the Alps, Harz or Bavarian Forest. Don't know.
warmest: Maspalomas, though I was only 5.
hottest summer experience: Messina, Italy.

Coldest by average temp: Mount Evans, CO (I was there in summer, and it was in the 40s at the time)

Coldest: -8F from a car thermometer on a stretch of I-5 between the town of Weed and Yreka in California
