This Climate box has a mixture of 6 other climates, but is it enough for people to think this fake climate would be an improvement of the current Portsmouth: Record Highs: Melbourne Average Highs: Portsmouth (Oct-March), London UHI (April), Melbourne's November and March avs (May and September), Perth's av December to February (Jun-Aug) Average Lows: Portsmouth Record Lows: Bournemouth (Nov-March), Melbourne's record lows October to April (April to October) Rainfall (mm): Portsmouth Rainy Days: Portsmouth Sunshine: Melbourne av May to September (Nov to March), Alicante (April to Oct)
So how do you rate this climate? It seems most people would rate portsmouth real climate between B and D. So It would be interesting to see if people would think that the climate has improved or not...
Thoughts and opinions
Personally I'd rate it a solid B. Winters are still a little dull, Summers are pretty much perfect and although the nights are a bit cool in comparison to the day - it's sleep-able, and I love both extremes as I do occasionally like a bit of snow now and then, as well as a few milder winter days. Much improvement from the current Portsmouth (which I rate a C-), and more extremes making things much interesting...
The regular Portsmouth was a D and this one is a D+/C- for the much warmer summers. I will increase the rating to a "C" if most of the summer rain is thundery. Summer records are too high and the winters are still too cold and gloomy for me though.
No bud, 20 to 25 degrees is mild... 9 and 10 degrees are cold!
No, it is not cold unless it is icy and frosty.
