It's Alive! (talking about winter).

Ice forming on the edges of the Norwalk River near the coast. This spills into the Long Island Sound but I'm facing opposite way here. Tide just coming in.

Max Temp low 30s today. Low temp was 19°F.
Yesterday didn't pass freezing and low temp was 24F
Day before didn't pass freezing and low temp was 26F

French consulate from the bus window

bus was empty when it got to the museum, filled up after leaving. Wouldn't want to live facing that:

Coming up from below I see one of my favorite skyscrapers:

I don't have snow, either. Snow is forecast tomorrow night, then turning to rain during the storm.

The little town nearby was cute:
My favorite is the first one. At first glance I thought: that doesn't look like France! Maybe it's some part of northern France with architecture similar to England, then saw the English signs.

Didn't know where to put this. Wish I was there.

Mt Greylocke in Massachusetts . Summit elevation 3,491 feet. A nice hike to do. Anyway, looks like ice & snow is up there at a certain level. I believe it's about 3000'? They don't mention it but the road crossing is definitely above 2000'..

A (typical old Norwegian) pillared storehouse at a farm in rural Norway. It is located about 2.5 hours NW from Oslo. The picture was taken a week ago. There was not much snow, maybe 20 cm (7.75") but it was quite cold, around -13°C (8°F). Elevation: around 420 m (1370 ft).
