Such a beautiful city. The snow even makes it look more bedazzling.

Anyway I can't believe -20C is recorded in a country like Greece!

Nothing like Chicago, CT or Greece here, it's mild and sunny. And there was still light when I came back from work!

Awesome colors! Looks like a strip in Florida. lol

Today was a snow event for a leaf blower, snow blower, shovel and plow.
A band that dropped 1"/1hr of fluffy snow and high ratios with temp 23-25°F.

Sun came out right after the front passed but so nice to see not much melting last 3 days especially with a sad snowpack like this..

Some more pics from this morning. First 2 are outside the downtown Stamford area.

Downtown Stamford in background. Avoided the jam packed I-95 but didn't make a difference. Overpopulated area. Roads just slushy.

Heading into downtown.

Slushy roads in heart of downtown.

Back in the burbs just 30 minutes from downtown

Well storm pics fit more into an autumn thread actually, but i will post them nevertheless here since its actually winter even though it does not look like one.

As mentioned in the weather thread there was a minor storm surge in Bremerhaven yesterday, nothing too bad but interesting enough to take some pics. All from last afternoon about high tide, as you can see the water was already retreating at that hour

Greenwich, CT Harbor freezing up. 18° at time of pic.

Little snow but a lot of cold air past few days froze the Putnam Lake in Greenwich CT. 17° at 11am.

11 of 12 nights below freezing.
Today is 5th day in a row staying below freezing during the day

Not bad for a camera phone (Samsung Galaxy 5S)

Something enjoyable about splitting wood on a cold crisp day like today with a snowpack.

Just wish there was more than an inch. At least its not melting. Was 22F/-6C .

Cherry pile in front. Oak in back.
