Troughton Island's dewpoints are false. Clearly you can see that they are higher than the actual temp which is impossible. Faulty instumentation. It's been doing this for months now.

I didn't notice that. I looked back a bit further on A underground, and the dp's still average between 22 and 28C for January, and never dropping below around 21C. That's still a very humid place.
Another dry, sunny and somewhat hot day today reached a max of 33.3C quite late in the afternoon as there was no seabreeze today. Looks like temperatures will range in the mid-high 30's for the next week so will probably be the longest period of extended hot weather so far this summer.
No recorded rainfall for 56 days now, the models are pointing to the potential for some reasonable rain next weekend but will just have to see, they tend to jump all over the place in summer.
Hottest day of the summer so far, with the temperature just short of a sizzling 28C/83F.
Just took this photo at the bottom of the drive, and it shows the 10 drop rainclouds that are standard here. The rain come through 5 minutes ago, with about 6 drops. All clear now -off for a swim.
The fact that my jar of coconut oil has remained solid most of this summer tells me how **** it has been so far.
Last three days of the month set to be about 23C, so it looks like you'll end January only slightly above average compared to last year which had an almost two degree departure. Less than average rainfall too but still a fair bit more than last year.
We got like 90mm of rain in three consecutive days. It was such a wintry feel, since (heavy) rain in the summer here comes for half hour and goes. This was one stubborn rain event, for a summer. Ouch...
Thankfully we're getting dry, crispy days from tomorrow and onward.

None here - if it stays dry till 9am Feb 1 it will be our driest Jan. since 1928.
We've had our first official heatwave of the summer with 3 days above 35C (last 3 days have been 37C, 40C and 37C). Uncomfortable inside right now with an indoor temp of 31C at 8:40pm.
Hot looking forecast ahead as well temperatures of 35C-37C expected for each of the next 7 days, some storms are possible over a number of days so the long drought may be broken. Saw a few good storm clouds to the east of Perth this afternoon but nothing in the city.

I think the main difference is been that we haven't had many exceptionally hot days this month, creating a much more mild flavour than other years.
