We had a mini storm tonight, the first since Christmas eve - spring is in the air.



Rain has been making a comeback as of late. The abnormally dry weather is likely coming to an end.

tonight was super warm the temp right now is 68! much higher than forecast. forecast high for today is 85. I think we can go higher than 85 today. charlotte nc just had their first 70 degree night also! who knows maybe we will get our first 90 degree day today. I hope we do. but I don't think we will.

Lets take a look before the Spring Pattern comes..

April 2015 so far. (April 1-9)

BDR: Avg Temp: 43.5°: -2.2 below normal
BDL: Avg Temp: 43.1°: -2.3° below normal

BOS: Avg Temp: 41.3°: -3.1 below normal
NYC: Avg Temp: 49.4°: +0.1 above normal

If the rest of April is like next week's forecast, April will average out to near normal. I don't think we'll get a repeat of the cold of midweek again.

Yeah, I still feel April will end up being near normal but IF the trough digs back in the East its game over for above or even normal April.

I got a strange feeling after April 21st we get same pattern as beginning of April which would make me wrong and we end up well below normal for another month.

Latest GFS for Northern CT.
