Freeze warning here, NWS forecasting 31F tonight. TWC forecasting 34F, I'm thinking they'll be right again if the clouds stick around tonight.

What's growing down there to merit a freeze warning?

Yeah they upgraded to freeze warnings around the area now.

Everything is growing. I think as soon as buds come out. Not sure the exact science of how they determine it but things are alive and growing. lol Even Tulips, Daffadills I guess. My onions are sprouting. My Potatoes are growing. Shoot, Garlic. I might cover those.

Berlin, NH has a near ice day today. High was 35 F (1.7 C)

This cold snap seems to be more impressive for its low maxes rather than cold overnight lows.

That is impressive, I really can't fathom how these American places at 43N record almost 0c maxes with such intense sun.

Where I live the sea is colder and the sun is weaker and the best we can hope for is 3c under persistent snow. Maybe a plateau?

Saranac Lake actually has had an ice day today, max has been 32 F (0 C) so far.

I wonder what the latest ice day recorded up there is.
