I take it you don't have A/C? What type of building do you live in?

This is something I'll never understand. Someone will admit to needing AC or a fan to feel comfortable, yet continue to hope for that weather.

fan is still outside air, shouldn't count the same way. Plenty of cold lovers need heat to be comfortable inside, yet hope for cold weather.

Still, it's a device that uses energy to keep you cool. The cold lovers are just as bad.

I'd be nearly suicidal if the weather was always room temperature. That's just so boring.

I agree, I enjoy some seasonality. Wishing a climate was either hot or cold year round is different, though. They obviously aren't comfortable with the weather if they have to use AC or heat. I respect four season climate lovers, however.

To be fair, the air indoors is much more stagnant than the air outside, a fan only provides the breeze you'd be getting if you were outdoors.

True, fans really don't use much energy. It's just un-heat trapping a house; it's not making it any colder than it is outside. In a tropical climate where houses were built with little insulation, they'd be less needed.

Fair enough, but if they are "heat" lovers, surely they wouldn't mind some extra warmth in their house. Doesn't make sense to me. I wouldn't consider room temperature "heat".

Well the same air temperature outside can feel more comfortable because air is moving. 80°F with air moving and stagnant feel rather different, IMO. Room temperature is heat if it's 85°F inside.

Though I found it strange that some of the louder heat lovers had A/C and set it to a not that hot temperature.
