Brr. We've never gotten a winter month anywhere near as cold. I suspect your winters have higher monthly variability than here.

Current 1pm Temps.

Mostly 50s along coastal plain away from immediate shore. Bridgeport 40°F. Groton CT 38°F.
Actually even Eastern MA not the capes near the coast, NH, and Maine are in the 50s too.

I'm at 52°! Feels like Spring... Doesn't look like it yet.

Right now, the lakeshore is about 12F cooler than the airports (10 miles away)




There is a good chance of hitting 20C/68F on Monday before the next wave of cold air arrives...

its near 80 here so many parts of the state have crossed the 80 mark. its very humid outside just the way I like it.

Very impressive month. A third of that month went below the all-time low in Trondheim.

Forecast is all sunshine here too, benefiting from the same high pressure.
