Sorry, yeah, this May. Definitely had other Mays with 40s. Last time for Bridgeport was 1990

5/12/10 also stayed in 40s here but not at the coast Bridgeport..
5/10/66 got down to freezing here.

yeah, 1991 was a warm one. 65.8° for BDL. This year is a hair ahead but after today might pull 2 hairs ahead.

1991 stands as the record warmest May for BDR.

Pittsburgh 5th warmest May in 1991. Sounds like a widespread thing that year.

Lexington Kentucky 4th warmest May 1991

Showers & storms missing me all day and evening . will get it tomm as the "slow" moving front pushes east.

Been raining in NY VT and northern NH

Syracuse 1.47" of rain today.
Burlington 0.75"

Thee goes the dry May stats for them. Funny how that works, huh. We lived through a very dry month yet on paper when we look back at the monthly total we wouldn't know it.

May 31, 2015 Tokyo approached 32.2°C(90.0°F) and it's record highest temperature in May since 1876!
Previous record was held 31.9°C(89.4°F) in 1999.

Yes indeed. I'll post it in the Summer thread. I'm struggling past mid 50s today. Lol

I should point out on those maps above, 1st one is max temps noon to 8pm. 2nd one is max for the day.
Like northern Vermont was in the upper 60s early in the morning before the front passed so that is what will be recorded as the max on paper for yesterday.

Went outside walking for about an hour this evening. The temp was a rain cooled 73 F, but the dewpoint was 70 F. Low 70s + near 100% humidity is interesting to say the least.
