Which season? Why?

I love the fall, for many reasons. The weather is cooler and the holidays are around the corner.

Summer. Warm and everything is growing plus swimming as well. It's the busy time as well. It's a ghost town here at present.

I love summer for long days, sunny and settled weather, going to the beach, lots of people around, and nature at its best.

Winter of course. Summer is absolutely boring.

My favorite season is Autumn! I also like the cooler - but not cold - weather and the beautiful Fall Foliage. It doesn't have the hot frenzy of Summer or the pressure and panic of the holiday season.

Since I've always loved school and September marks the beginning of Autumn it's possible that I may connect the two. I also enjoy fall's holidays - Halloween and Thanksgiving. I love fall food - apple pie and pumpkin everything - coffee to soup!

My birthday is also in October.

I just think it's a cozy and beautiful season where being outdoors is still not unbearably cold and being indoors can involve a roaring fire or the front porch - on the same night.

Spring.
The days start to get longer and, in my part of the world, the sun starts peeking out on occasion. By late April, after we have endured up to six months of clouds and gloom, the sun is welcome.

Summer.

Hot/warm days and nights, humidity, long days, the sound of cicadas, thunderstorms (except this year ), etc. And I'm the most comfortable in the summer, I hate jackets/hats/etc.

Yep, definitely cicadas - the sound of summer. Do cicadas go 24 hours a day in the US? When they do here, it indicates the very warmest days of summer.

Summer of course. Winter is awful. Cold and dark = evil, from my perspective. I used to do a job which involved being outside in the winter dark/cold a lot and couldn't wait to leave it. My love of warm humid weather and T-storms, and abject HATRED of cold temperatures, and also dullness/darkness and also that evil slippery ice of course, makes this a bloody easy decision. I enjoy winter about as much as finding a fly on a slice of pizza I'm putting into my mouth.

Spring. Here it brings lush greenery, frequent thunderstorms and comfortable temperatures, and that's all I ask for.
