These are the same moronic arguments Wavehunter would use to try and paint the Northeast U.S. as a warm climate, by using only cities from the Megalopolis lol. "This is where most of the population lives".....yeah you sound real educated using that argument.

He would use it to prove how the Northeast lacked extreme cold, lol.

I would consider DC and Baltimore rather warm climates though.

Lol how delusional, was he from the Northeast?

Idk, I think most of the Northeast gets warm summers but when it comes to winters you have to go to the south to find warmth! In order to find 15c weather in the coldest month you have to go all the way down to Charleston! And even in 15c winters you can get some wintry days, the winters here are around 15c and you still see tons of people wearing jackets!

It's not in that ballpark, the coast to interior pop ratio is much smaller in the NE US than in Australia

Still, this is a weather and climate forum, not a population density forum. If you want to discuss that go to the Urban Planning forum or whatever. The grand majority of Australia's landmass is very hot and dry. No arguing that.

Wow, don't know how to respond to that, jeesh. My point is that Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth metros alone have like 80% of Australia's people. The US can't lay the same claim.

I was expressing that while Australia has hot climates, the majority of the population don't experience them, same way that the majority of California is hot to very hot in the summer, but 3/4 of the state lives near the coast where it doesn't get that hot except for Santa Ana's
