This table showcases the 1881-1910 normals for Sydney CBD. Sydney was a few degrees cooler in that era, especially in winter, and also rainier in terms of rainy days. Would you prefer this Sydney over the 'new' one?



Sunshine hours, if I had to guess, would have probably been around 2,350 hours, as opposed to today's 2,600 hours.

D+. Too warm year round especially in winter. Summer nights aren't really that cool either.

I can't believe the hottest month's max temperature is 3c cooler than up here

The extremes are a lot more extreme though. Australian climates are exotic to me.

It's a great example of a winterless, mild climate. For a winterless climate, I might like slightly warmer summer days, though.
All A and B climates need some snow.
