I'm playing around with some colors and curious which you guys liked.

A. Top left
B. Top Right
C. Bottom Left
D. Bottom Right

C doesn't pick up the very light stuff, notice the dbz starts at 10 and areas reporting snow/flurries not showing up on radar.
D reads every 2dbz so blends nicely.

I'll post some more options eventually. If you have an idea or suggestion, please post. Or a favorite Radar.

I like C best, since it doesn't detect the very light trivial stuff. I also like the purple color - it suits snowy conditions well.

B is also pretty good, since it yields the most contrast between light and heavy bands of snow.

Yeah, Its always a toss up between pretty blues or purples. Maybe I'll create one with purples being the lighter stuff and blues being moderate and pink heavy?

Once we get a bigger snow event I will do another comparison here.

B is the easiest to see where the moderate to heavy snow is. Like those colors too.

Snow is always perfect matching with blue, I go with B with most of the others.

I just realized that A looks like it could be cloud cover (so I take it back). B looks like rainfall (at least that's what we use).

I'm gonna with either C or D.
