Hey guys I am still learning how to properly analyze forcasting models and would really appreciate if you helped me figure out how cold the GFS is suggesting it will get in south florida .

Need the stamp with the image to know what we're looking at. Is that the 850mb temps? Which run is this? GFS runs 4 times a day. Do you have access to the temp output? If yes that makes it easier to see what the latest run says for temps. Hard to know from this map but also hard to know without knowing what map it is about. Repost another full image

I like this idea u have. Post a model image and guess at something regarding results. Could make the forum interesting. If I had to guess and that image u posted is the 850mb temps, Florida would be below normal for this time frame. Maybe dipping to 40s at night??

Not saying much. It would only have to be 2 degrees below normal to be in the upper 40s here.

Here it would be 10 below normal. This model is the GFS 18z run of 850mb temps, mslb (??), precip

Interesting to see the freezing line dip down that far. Would translate to 60s for max for southern Florida. 40s for lows away from coast. Stay on top of it since its 7+ days out. Next few updates might not be as cold
