Strong Words from NWS Boston, I don't want to hear we weren't warned like that joker from NY regarding Buffalo.

Crippling. Historic. Life Threatening. Severe Beach Erosion. Lightning off shore. It's bombing out!

On the radio here I just heard that Hydro-Québec has sent 200 electrical crews down to Boston to help them out in anticipation of the storm. We've sent crews to help out before (and American crews helped us out a lot in the ice storm of 1998), but this is the first I have heard of crews being sent ahead of time in anticipation of a bad situation.

The New York Times is keeping a map of snowfall totals so far. Some of the numbers are a bit old.

while latest NAM run (which would had spared NYC and NJ) is completely useless cuz it's already off track (putting the core far to east compared to the current analysis/radar)
