When do the dogwoods usually bloom? The azaleas?
Probably be late May this year. Usually mid May, I think. Could be completely wrong though.

Yea, I don't see the resemblance to Los Angeles at all. Here's an awesome photo with the Hollywood sign as a backdrop:

lol. Love hearing that. I don't want to be in a place with early blooms like there. lol

I have to look closer for dogwoods, usually standout for the white and pink flowers but not even at that stage yet. I wonder how big the buds are on them. Normal bloom for them is by mid-end of April

Azaleas just started leafing. forget the flowers. Maybe next month

LOL. Amazing, huh?

I was always amused at my parents wigging out whenever we went to the mountains in May, and seeing the blooms that had long since faded away back home. "It's the middle of May, and the dogwoods are still blooming!" Stuff like that.

Some photos from France. First ones are from the alps at a ski resort near where I lived, also some from Paris this past weekend.

A nice photo I took in January:

Party took its toll.. I had a bad hangover the next day!

The town I lived in a couple of weeks ago in early April. Even at 600m altitude, by this time of the year it is very warm during the day in the sun
