An awful climate to be sure, but the sunshine hours are likely higher than you suspect. There are places on NZ's West Coast with similar annual rainfall that manage well over 1500 hrs (even though they suffer a lot due to horizontal obstruction from nearby hills, especially with the low winter sun at that latitude).

F+: The possibility of snow in the winter saves it from a Z. It is an absolutely horrible climate that makes Singapore look decent. The summers are abhorrent and the winters are a very slight improvement. There is also too much rainfall in all seasons.

Well I would not live there but I bet it can be great for skiing, kinda looks like somewhere in the Alps, but more oceanic of course. Also, how sunny is that place ?

I've been to Aruba which has similar temps to S-pore but is much dryer. I think the heat and humidity of S-pore would be a bit worse than Aruba because Aruba has the constant trade winds whereas the air in S-pore is stagnant and muggy. Also there are a bit too many t-storms in S-pore for my liking. If you don't know this I prefer climates to have dry summers and snowy winters or to be dry all year.
