Personally I think this is one of the better climates in the United States. The summers are dry and warm with refreshingly cool nights, and the winters are slightly cold with a little snowfall and a fair amount of rain. It's also located on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada's which is a plus.

I give it an A-

Summers linger a bit and winters drop fairly cool, but it seems very good otherwise. B+.

EDIT: there's no poll.

Beautiful area and the climate is good....I say a B. Too much winter rain and a bit cool in the winter, summers there are fantastic.

Everything looks perfect, apart from summer highs (they're just good)
Incredible how it manages 1500 mm, without spoiling any of the summer with rainy weather, in Portugal locations with 1500mm plus, always have more than 150mm for the june-september period, while Nevada city only gets 60mm.

Cold rain all winter with vile and inhospitable dry summers. This one gets an F.

C-. Winters and all year round nights are far to cold, to wet in winter, and to dry in summer. However, I expect sunshine levels are relatively high, and summer days look lovely... But not good enough!
