The Forecast Blues (climate, snowing, ice, predict)

Last Sat. morning, Wunderground predicted less than 1" snow for the day. As the afternoon moved on, it changed to ~1", 1-3", ice pellets, and, at 4pm, they cancelled all precip in favor of partly cloudy. Five different forecasts throughout the day.

So at 4:45, it began snowing and totaled a quarter inch which was consistent with the original forecast.

But of course they can tell us what will happen 50 years down the road because climate ain't the same thing as weather.
