here in Seattle the rain falls 24/7 in winter and in the summer it rains on and off for a couple hours.

24/7 in the winter? Where do you live? Also, summer rain here is very rare. Talk about exaggeration.

Seattle gets 822 hrs of rain annually, about half of that is in winter.

I live in Olympia and this will be my first winter here. Looking at data it looks to rain more than Seattle here.

It's true because you are closer to the ocean. But summers are very dry.

okay maybe I was exaggerating but still it rains a lot and there are some years where it literally doesn't stop raining for a whole month. Also it is usually very light rain and nights tend to be rainier than the day. and for the summer part I meant that when it does rain, which is rare, it is on and off for a couple hours, not the entire day like it usually is in the winter.

Is it more light rain or drizzle?

I personally like rain in a misty, drizzle form.
