Oh wow, that's a pretty big one. Did it do any damage to any of the coastal areas or was it far enough out in the ocean that everything and everyone was safe? We are SO lucky that many of our quakes haven't produced tsunamis. Those are probably more devastating then the quakes themselves.

i live directly east of where it hit, and we never felt a thing...no damage, no tsunamie, no nothing.
